Charter
The Actual Freedom Fund’s sole and exclusive mission (the “Mission”) is to promote and facilitate an actual freedom from the human condition for every human being on the planet sincerely interested in it, with the aim to bring about an actual and lasting peace on earth sooner rather than later.
The Fund will further the Mission via its aims and purposes (the “Aims”), which include but are not limited to the following:

- To enable and facilitate the free access to discussions of actual freedom, actualism, the actualism method, and anything related to them.
- To promote, enable, and facilitate groups of sincere actualists to have get-togethers, be they virtual or in-person, for the purposes of discussion, interaction, intimacy, enjoyment and appreciation, and generally fostering a jovial atmosphere, with the ultimate aim of maximizing the benefit to the participants with regards to their goals of maximizing their continuous enjoyment and appreciation of being alive, and becoming virtually or actually free sooner rather than later, as the case may be.
The ways the Fund will accomplish these Aims may consist of and is not limited to the following:
- Holding the rights to websites and online discussion platforms, to ensure their perpetuity and maintain unrestricted and free-of-charge access to them.
- Operating or facilitating the operation of said websites and discussion platforms.
- Covering the costs of operating said websites and discussion platforms.
- Organizing, hosting and/or covering the costs of hosting virtual and physical get-togethers.
- Covering travel costs, including but not limited to flights, trains, meals, accommodations, etc., for actualists who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend a physical get-together due to lack of resources on their part.
- Accepting donations or bequests, the funds of which shall be restricted to be used solely for the furtherance of the Mission.
- All the regular bookkeeping and upkeep required to maintain the legal entity of the Fund, along with prudent management and husbanding of Fund resources.
All such operations shall be carried out in a manner consistent with the Fund’s legal governing documents and its status as a taxable nonprofit organization.
- The Fund is a nonprofit corporation, meaning that no part of its earnings or assets is to be used for the personal benefit of any private individual. The common exception is payment for services rendered, and payments and distributions made in furtherance of the mission (e.g. providing travel assistance).
- The Fund aspires to maintain a high degree of transparency as to what it owns, what rights it holds, the status and general contents of any accounts it may have, and what income the Fund receives and what costs it covers.
- Any grants the Fund disburses must be approved by the Directors.
- These integrity commitments are guiding principles: the Board may refine how they are implemented in practice over time, provided that any such refinements continue to further the Mission and are consistent with the Fund’s legal and taxable nonprofit obligations.
